Dear Friends,

What a time we have begun to live in! When hour by hour things are changing and all seems turned on its head, we can have faith OUR GOD STILL REIGNS!! Due to changing policies and suggestions by the CDC and our conference, many things will be changing here at Cove Run. We would like to share with you how the Holy Spirit is leading us to move forward. These decisions were not made easily or without a lot of prayers, discussion and research. Please bear with us, lift us in prayer and realize this is all uncharted territory for many, if not all, of us.

ALL ministries will be suspended until further notice with the exception of Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Sunday morning worship service.

Your safety and health are our priorities! Not only your physical health but more importantly your spiritual health. In order to continue to provide you with opportunities to be spiritually healthy, we have begun to put into practice different ways to make sure we can. Our God is present and moving wherever you are, whether aT home, church, middle of nowhere or anywhere in between.

Cove Run, as started last week, will be streaming live on Facebook every Sunday morning at 10:00am with live music from our praise team and a message by Pastor Travis! We will also be working on setting up online giving so you will be able to tithe and give to the ministries here at Cove Run without physically being here.

We want to encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities being put into place. We would ask that each individual pray and consider what they are being led to do….with that being said we are not closing our doors at this time. HOWEVER, if you feel you need to be in the house of the Lord during this time we have put new practices into place with leading from the CDC guidelines:

-If you are sick or even THINK we are getting sick, STAY HOME!

-Hand sanitizing stations have been placed at all entryways.

-Until further notice, we will not be handing out or using bulletins or prayer request lists.

-All Bibles, hymnals, pens, and pencils have been removed from all pews.

-Our Welcome Center will be closed until further notice.

-When you enter, please continue directly to your seat.

-Do your best to stay at least 6ft apart.

-A strict “no-touch” policy will be in effect. No handshaking or hugging.

-The offering will be collected in baskets at the entryways. We will not be passing the baskets.

-Communion will be postponed until further notice.

-Directly after service, every Sunday and Wednesday all surfaces, pews, door handles, bathrooms and railings will be wiped down and cleaned.

As we come together, physically or not, to combat this virus we must remember that the battle is the Lord’s! Stay safe! We look forward to worshipping with you, however that is able to happen! GOD IS GREATER AND THROUGH ALL THIS WE WILL SEE A VICTORY IN JESUS NAME!!!!

“Be still, and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!”

The Lord of hosts is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress.

-Psalm 46 10-11

In Christ,

Pastor Travis and the Cove Run Leadership team.
